I can find humor in just about anything. It really is the best medicine…and it’s free!”

Some of her other interests include addiction medicine and caring for the aging.

Abbott, who has always been active in the communities she’s lived, has worked in Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia over the years, with her most recent stops at Laurel Place, Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center and Cortland Acres.
