Stonewall Resort will host an immersive and interactive murder mystery dinner event Saturday, September 14, where the audience becomes part of the performance.
“If you’ve ever wanted to ‘get in the act,’ our September 14 Murder Mystery event is for you,” said Andre D’Amour, general manager at Stonewall Resort. “Gather your friends or that special someone and help solve this hilarious ‘whodunit’.”
D’Amour said the performance, entitled Speakeasy of Murder, is set in 1928. Mobster and bootlegger Danny “Lucky” Campisano hosts the grand opening of his new speakeasy for friends and associates. He has ordered a special case of illegal gin just for the occasion. However, the gin is poisoned, as someone wants to spoil the party.
In addition to the murder mystery show, the event includes a three-course dinner. The evening menu includes:
- Kale salad with fresh apple, toasted walnut, blue cheese, crispy parsnips and a honey lemon thyme vinaigrette
- Braised pork shoulder with an apple fig glaze, whipped celery root mash and roasted vegetable medley
- Tiramisu with vanilla mascarpone and fresh whipped cream
A cash bar will be available.
Individual tickets as well as an overnight package, which includes a one-night stay in Stonewall Resort’s lakeside lodge, the murder mystery performance and dinner, are available.
