Stonewall Resort constructing new luxury lakeside cottage

WESTON, W.Va. – To meet growing guest demand, Stonewall Resort is in the process of constructing a new 1,700-square foot, luxury cottage featuring three-bedrooms with private baths, open floorplan and lake views, resort officials announced.  The cottage will be available for rental starting August 1, 2019.

“Given this is the only lakeside property of its type in West Virginia, we’ve seen a great deal of interest from leisure and meeting guests in renting our cottages,” said Andre’ D’Amour, general manager of Stonewall Resort. “We added two new luxury cottages over the past year and Unit 22, our newest addition, will be spectacular.”

D’Amour said Unit 22 is offers peaceful lake views and the serenity of cul-de-sac living.  The spacious and comfortable cottage features three bedrooms, each with a private bath with mini infinity showers, an open floor plan with a stacked stone gas fireplace, a warming color pallet, area rugs and comfortable furnishings both inside and out.  The living room also offers an additional and convenient half bath.

A fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, gas cooktop and top-of-the-line stainless-steel appliances. Cookware, tableware and flatware are all included. A French door from the living room opens to a covered private deck spanning the entire length of the unit.  The deck – which overlooks the lake, surrounding woodlands and the natural beauty of the resort park grounds – offers a gas grill and outdoor furniture.

A washer and dryer, linens, central air and heat, ceiling fans, Wi-Fi, flat panel TV’s with HD channels are all included. Guests of this cottage will also enjoy cottage side parking, private lake access featuring complimentary boat slips, a launch, boat trailer parking and the option of kayak usage from the cottage.

“As a result of a recently completed approval process, the resort in now authorized to increase lodging capacity using private investment to build additional cottages, which will be made available for public rental,” said D’Amour.  “This is a unique, income-producing investment opportunity for qualified/accredited investors.”

D’Amour said those interested in learning more about the investment opportunity should contact Rudy Henley, Stonewall Resort’s asset manager, at (304) 347-7520, or via email at jrhenley@stonewallresort.com.
