St. Joseph’s Hospital welcomes first baby of 2022

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — St. Joseph’s Hospital welcomed Valerie Jane Bragg at 2:34 pm on Saturday, January 1, 2022.   

Born to proud parents Alison Bragg and Dalton Bragg of Buckhannon, West Virginia, Valerie weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 21.5 inches long.  She was delivered at St. Joseph’s Hospital by Amanda Ketterman, CNM with the Center for Women’s Health at St. Joseph’s Hospital.   

Valerie’s maternal grandparents are Rick and Beth Rickman Buckhannon, W.Va. and her paternal grandparents are Tim and Lora Bragg of Buckhannon, W.Va.

Valerie was given gifts to welcome her as our 2022 New Year Baby from St. Joseph’s Hospital.
