BUCKHANNON — St. Joseph’s Hospital will be providing free screenings and health information at Festival Fridays in Jawbone Park on Friday, July 9.
Staff from the hospital will be offering free bone density scans, health information including summer safety, preventative measures and women’s health information. Children will have the opportunity to color their own visors for protection from the summer sun.
Job opportunities at the hospital will also be highlighted.
The hospital will also be accepting donations for the Parish House’s food pantry as part of their “100 Days of Thankful” in recognition of the hospital’s 100th anniversary. Please bring non-perishable food items to the hospital’s table. Festival Fridays is held each Friday from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. through Aug. 27 and features a family atmosphere with music and entertainment.
