St. Joseph’s Hospital recognizes its radiologic technologists

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – St. Joseph’s Hospital recognized National Radiologic Technology Week during the second week of November. This week is celebrated each year during the week of November 8 to commemorate the discovery of the X-ray by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on November 8, 1895.

The week-long celebration calls attention to the important role medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals play in patient care and health care safety. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Essential Together.”

“The commitment and hard work of our radiological technologists is critical to providing the best in care for our patients at St. Joseph’s Hospital,” said Tom Nestor, Director of Diagnostic Imaging.
