Show schedule announced for ‘Berry Horse Parade Day’

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — The following shows have been announced by Horse and Carriage Parade organizers. The activities will take place Saturday, May 11 prior to the 3 p.m. Horse and Carriage Parade. Several additional activities will take place in downtown Buckhannon throughout the day.

The shows will be staged across from the Bicentennial Motel located on East Main Street in Buckhannon. These events are sponsored by Dr. Michael Miller DDS.

11:30 a.m.   Cherokee Stables Standard Bred Drill Team-Grove City, Ohio

                    These Drill Team horses are retired from racing and have won over 1 

                     Million dollars in winnings.

Noon    Trick Rider Shadow Montag (Belmont, Ohio) and the Mid America

                    Cowgirls Drill Team (Three Oaks, Michigan)

                    Riding through fire-dozens for exciting maneuvers on horse – sure to delight all spectators – Shadow Montag has performed at the Dollywood Stampede for two years and has appeared on “Bring Up Bates” TV show. Mid America Cowgirls Rodeo Drill Team-selected from over 3,000 applicants to appear in 2016 Presidential Inaugural Parade.

12:30 p.m.    Diamond D Cowgirls Drill Team (Atlanta, Georgia)

                     National Champion Drill Team in 2016-2017.
