BUCKHANNON — The Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur recently packed backpacks for Upshur County school students. They packed 280 backpacks for elementary-age boys.

Each pack included loose-leaf paper, spiral notebooks, folders, pens, pencils, highlighters, scissors, glue and personal care items.  The Rotarians also donated over 1000 spiral notebooks.  A total of 1000 backpacks will be distributed to Upshur County school students.
