WESTON, W.Va. – Robin S. Poling was recently elected to serve as the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital Board of Directors Chair. Poling has served on the SJMH Board of Directors since 2011.

Poling is an avid supporter of SJMH and noted its importance in the community. “I am honored to be elected and will commit to serve as admirably as my predecessor, John Law. I think it is vital to Weston, Lewis County and central West Virginia to have an accredited, award-winning hospital, emergency/trauma department and associated clinics available here. Providing healthcare close to home is important for our community. With the strength of the Mon Health System, we can broaden our reach and offer additional services necessary for the health and wellbeing of our patients. I look forward to serving my community in this capacity” Poling said.

Poling is currently a sales manager at Stonewall Resort, a Benchmark Hospitality International property, a position she has held since 2002. Stonewall Resort considers Poling’s election a great honor and her work with the Hospital aligns with the company’s Hometown Hospitality initiative.

She is a graduate of West Virginia Univeristy with a Bachelor of Science in Resource Management and received a master’s degree in agriculture in 1986. Poling was a West Virginia University Extension Agent in Doddridge and Lewis Counties from 1982 to 1993.
