Reminder: Free paper-shredding event set for Saturday

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — The Upshur County Solid Waste Authority is inviting residents to participate in a free paper-shredding event this Saturday, September 18, to dispose of those sensitive documents that have been piling up.

The event will take place at 395 Mudlick Road from 9 a.m. to noon (across from the Waste Transfer Station on Mudlick Road).

Belinda Lewis, Director of the Upshur County Solid Waste Authority, announced the event noting that it is for residential shredding only and that each resident is allowed to bring either two banker boxes, or two 13-gallon bags of material to be shredded. For peace of mind, you can watch it get shredded!
