Ralph’s Furniture picks up two wins in CEC Summer Basketball League

TENNERTON – After not having a game in week one, Ralph’s Furniture hopped into action in the CEC Upshur County Summer Basketball League on Monday with a pair of games.

Ralph’s Furniture won both of their games, taking a 90-47 win over Power Alley Cross Fit and a 94-79 win over Blades & Fades.

David Shriver led Ralph’s Furniture in both games, scoring 35 against Power Alley Cross Fit and 32 against Blades & Fades.

In the loss for Power Alley Cross Fit, Sterlin Thropp had a team-high 22 points and for Blades & Fades in the setback, Carter Williams had a team-high 24 points.

In the other game on Monday, Power Alley Cross Fit defeated Blades & Fades by a 60-58 score.

Ryan Strader led Power Alley Cross Fit with 22 points while Rye Gadd paced Blades & Fades with 18 points.
