PSA: Pigeon-proofing process on courthouse to commence Thursday

BUCKHANNON — The dome cleaning and spike installation on the Upshur County Courthouse will begin on Thursday, May 23.

As a result, Chancery Street, the courtyard and front doors of the courthouse will be closed during this time. Work is expected to continue at least through Friday, May 31.

Access to the courthouse must be made through the Upshur County Courthouse Annex during this time. Individuals with mobility concerns who are needing to conduct business in the County Clerk’s Office may contact the Clerk’s Office at 304-472-1068 to make alternative arrangements.
