Pick up the phone to call Kelley Tierney State Farm to benefit Upshur County Backpack Program this month

BUCKHANNON – Local State Farm agent Kelley Tierney asks the Upshur County community to call in to receive a free auto, home or life insurance quote. In return, her office will donate $10 to the Foundation for Better Schools Upshur County Backpack Program for every quote.

The Foundation for Better Schools is a nonprofit organization that strives to support the youth of Upshur County in various capacities. This month, Kelley Tierney State Farm is partnering with the Foundation’s Backpack Program to provide local children with weekend food options throughout the remainder of the school year and during holiday breaks.

The fundraising goal for the Upshur County School’s Backpack Program is $10,000, and every free insurance quote will help the Foundation for Better Schools get closer to that goal.

This is not the first time Tierney and the Foundation for Better Schools have partnered to aid the youth of Upshur County. In June 2022, Kelley Tierney State Farm donated $10,000 to the Foundation during the 100th Anniversary of State Farm. This donation was made possible through the State Farm Outstanding Community Engagement Grant program.

No purchase is necessary to participate in this month’s campaign, which concludes March 31. Current State Farm insureds are excluded, so encourage family and friends to participate for a good cause!

Call Kelley Tierney State Farm at 304-472-5552 or visit their office at 115 East Main Street in Buckhannon to participate in this campaign. Follow Kelley Tierney State Farm on Facebook to follow along with upcoming fundraisers, learn more information on insurance services and more.
