The City of Buckhannon would like to notify residents and visitors that parking will be prohibited along the parade route of Wednesday’s Buckhannon-Upshur High School Homecoming Parade.

No parking will be allowed from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. on Main Street to S. Kanawha Street and on S. Kanawha Street to Madison Street.

The parade begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2 and will travel from the Gibson Library, down Main Street, turn onto S. Kanawha Street to Wendy’s, and then conclude at Jawbone Park.
