Northern part of N. Spring Street to be closed starting Tuesday as sewer line replacement continues

BUCKHANNON — Beginning Tuesday, May 11, 2021, the Buckhannon Sewer Department will be closing the northern part of North Spring as they continue replacing lines.  To access businesses such as Southern States and The Salvation Army as well as the Spring Street Parking lot, you are advised to use Kanawha Street to Willard Way.

The Spring Street entrance to the alley serving the back parking lot for Chase Bank has already been closed.

Please continue to use caution when driving or walking in the work area.

The members of the Sewer Department appreciate the area residents for their patience and understanding.  The city will continue to issue updates as this project continues.
