BUCKHANNON — Upshur County Clerk Carol Smith and poll workers were on hand at the Event Center at Brushy Fork Tuesday evening from 5-8 p.m. to show voters how to use the county’s new voting system.
In the Nov. 6 General Election, voters will use the ExpressVote system to make their selections. The ExpressVote system allows voters to review and print their ballot before inserting it into the DS200 precinct scanner, which actually does the tabulating.
Voters who missed Tuesday’s open demonstrations are invited to stop by the county clerk’s office for a demo from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday prior to the election.
