BUCKHANNON, W.Va. –  Studio 7 Sun and Salon has opened their doors to Buckhannon residents for haircuts, tanning and so much more.

The salon, located in Skyline Plaza near Kroger, is under new ownership, as Kelley Spencer takes on the career endeavor with great support from God, her coworkers, family, friends and the Buckhannon community.

“I’ve wanted to be a hairdresser since I was around 10 years old,” Spencer said. “I was cutting everything — my own hair, my brother’s hair, the dog’s hair, the cat’s hair. I just knew it was my thing. I feel like God has a plan for me, and this is it.”

Since their opening in mid-September, Studio 7 has grown their client offerings to a wide variety of services.

Services include:

  • Tanning
  • Hair
  • Lash Extensions
  • Manicures (Pedicures will be available in the near future)
  • Microblading
  • Lip Blushing
  • Airbrush Makeup
  • Spray Tans
  • Waxing

This salon acts as a home-away-from-home for many people, as that sense of welcoming is felt as soon as you walk through the doors. A smiling face will be greeting you at the front desk as the staff of Studio 7 hold their clients in a special place in their hearts, developing a personal connection to each of their clients’ stories and their families.

“I want people, when they come in, to feel like they’re at home,” Spencer said.
