BUCKHANNON – The owners of ReNewU Beauty & Wellness on Main Street aim to help their clients look and feel their best now that the business’s doors are open.

ReNewU Beauty & Wellness, a new business in downtown Buckhannon, hosted an official ribbon cutting Thursday, Feb. 28 at their location within Ultimate Image Salon at 3 East Main Street in Buckhannon.

Owner/operator Jason Hosaflook, CRNA, APRN, said his business partner J.D. Wolfe, CRNA, APRN, convinced him to open the business after operating RevIVeU a Bridgeport-based medical spa.

“I’m a full-time CRNA (certified registered nurse anesthetist) with the hospital; I’ve been doing anesthesia out there for 20 years, and my partner that helped me get started has a bunch of these clinics throughout the area,” Hosaflook said. “He has one in Bridgeport called RevIVeU, and he’s been wanting me for years to get one started down here.”

Also an advanced practice registered nurse, APRN, Hosaflook said he finally felt ready to make the move in 2023.

“I was finally at a point in my life where my kids are older, and I’ve got one sent off to college, and I’m not as involved in Boy Scouts, so I have a little bit more free time, and he finally convinced me to do it,” he said of his business partner.

ReNewU offers semaglutide medical weight loss injections, Adipex weight loss management, Botox/dermal filler injection therapy and IV hydration therapy. Hosaflook told My Buckhannon that the company plans to offer additional services for clients as demand increases. For instance, the business may offer alpha-lipoic acid treatments for diabetic neuropathy sufferers in the future.

“I really enjoy it,” Hosaflook said. “I like that I get to perform different services and meet a lot of different people in the community, so it’s been enjoyable.”

ReNewU Beauty & Wellness is open from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. by appointment, and it also serves walk-in clients. However, Hosaflook is flexible, he said.

“If somebody called me and said they can’t meet me on Wednesday, we can make something work within my work schedule up at the hospital,” he said. “We do whatever we can to help make it more convenient for our clients.”

Special event hours and times may vary. Schedule an appointment with ReNewU by phone at 304-838-3906, online at www.renewuwv.com or message their Facebook page today! Please note that ReNewU Beauty & Wellness is a cash or credit card-based company. Insurance is not accepted.
