Men’s Soccer Earns Tie in Road Opener

The West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats were seeking their first win, playing on the road in a non-conference game against Lock Haven University on Sunday/

Within the first 5 minutes of action Brian Flatter of Lock Haven would receive the first yellow card of the game, moments later Luca Falconieri of the Bobcats also received a yellow card.

After 90 minutes and two overtime periods, the game ended in a 0-0 tie. Both teams put up similar numbers in the box score, both goalies had 6 saves a piece and just fewer than 20 total shots from each team.

Wesleyan Men’s Soccer will be back in action in their first conference game this upcoming Wednesday at 4:00 pm, at Notre Dame College. The Bobcats will be searching for their first win of the 2018 season.
