Marilyn Elizabeth Morrow

Marilyn Elizabeth Morrow, 91, of Buckhannon, passed away at her home on Thursday, June 23, 2022.

She was born on February 13, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Thomas Otto and Dorothy Cecelia (Wiebelhaus) Sivil. She was united in marriage on October 27, 1951 to Clinton James Morrow who preceded her in death on August 18, 2001, in addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by one son; Kenneth Morrow and one daughter Jane Cmolik. 

Marilyn is survived by one son, Jerry Morrow and wife Elizabeth of Phillips Wisconsin, one daughter, Donna Tallman and husband Mike of Buckhannon, one brother, David Sivil and wife Joyce of Logan, Ohio, 17 Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Marilyn was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Buckhannon and a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Kennan, WI.  She enjoyed quilting and meeting with the ladies from church to make pillows, lap throws and other items for local nursing homes.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, June 26, 2022, 2:00 PM at Mt. Union Cemetery with Pastor Mike Tallman and Pastor Gary Beall officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of her favorite children’s ministries, New Hope Baptist Academy P.O. Box 107, Kennan, WI 54537.
