Lisa Cain Edward Jones stays on top of Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings

TENNERTON – Lisa Cain Edward Jones held onto their fourth-quarter lead in the 2023 Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings this week.

Lisa Cain Edward Jones maintained first place after a 21 ½-18 ½ victory over Feola’s Flowers to reach 68 points.

Hank Ellis Insurance defeated Sealcoat Concepts by a 21-19 score as both teams now reside in second place with 65 points.

Custom Cabinets had a big week as they moved up one spot into fourth place with 64 points after a 25 ½-14 ½ win over High Point Construction.

Highland Landscaping dropped one spot to fifth place with 61 points after losing a 20 ½-19 ½ verdict to First Community Bank.

The other match of the week saw Baker Tilly down Sam’s Pizza by a 23-17 score.

 John Moss of Sam’s Pizza and Chris Brady of Sealcoat Concepts both shared Low Actual honors with a 36 while Forrest Elmore of Custom Cabinets won Low Net honors with a 30.
