Leadership Upshur announces 2025–2026 class

The Upshur County Development Authority and Buckhannon-Upshur Chamber of Commerce announced the 14-member Leadership Upshur Class of 2025–2026, a professional development program to strengthen leadership, civic engagement and networking across Upshur County.

The Upshur County Development Authority and the Buckhannon-Upshur Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce the members of the Leadership Upshur Class of 2025–2026.

Leadership Upshur is a professional development program designed for individuals who live or work in and around Upshur County, West Virginia. The program offers aspiring leaders from personal, business, non-profit, government, and other sectors the opportunity to strengthen their leadership abilities, enhance their community engagement, and build professional networks. Participants will explore topics such as leadership skills, effective habits, emotional intelligence, and civic involvement.

The 2025–2026 class includes:

  • Courtney Luckasevic – Vandalia Health
  • Angela Hess – Community Care of West Virginia
  • Becky Perry – WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital

“This year’s class represents a dynamic cross-section of leaders from across our community,” said Tammy Reger, Executive Director of the Buckhannon-Upshur Chamber of Commerce. “Leadership Upshur provides these individuals with the tools, knowledge, and connections they need to make a positive impact — not only in their organizations, but throughout Upshur County and beyond.”

Throughout the program, participants will take part in interactive workshops, site visits, and community projects designed to broaden their perspectives and inspire solutions for local challenges.
