James Loyd Perrine

James Loyd Perrine, age 81, of the Gaines Road, Rock Cave, died Saturday, May 4, 2024. 

He was born on March 29, 1943, in Webster County, a son of the late Lloyd Perrine and Macil Barker Perrine Landis. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son James Loyd (Jim) Perrine, II; and four siblings: Johnnie Perrine, Mary Williams, Joe Perrine, and Betsy Perrine. 

He is survived by two daughters: Valerie Perrine of Gaines and Mary Perrine (Ricky) of Jacksonville, FL; daughter-in-law Ronda Perrine of Gaines; four grandchildren:  Dalton Perrine of Gaines, Jamey Weintraub of Elkins, Thomas Ivey of Lake City, FL, and Keonna Ivey of Washington, PA; one great grandson Kornell Little of Washington, PA; and siblings:  Harold (Sherry) Perrine of Adrian, Bill Perrine of Adrian, David (Linda) Perrine of Adrian, Donald Perrine of Alexander, Jackie (Patty) Perrine of Glady Fork, Kay Bentley of Tennerton, and Joyce (John) Griffith of Hinkleville.

Mr. Perrine was a retired truck driver and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

The body will be cremated and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
