Hank Ellis Insurance downs High Point Construction for Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League title

TENNERTON – Hank Ellis Insurance won the 2023 Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League championship with a narrow victory over High Point Construction.

High Point Construction took a two-point lead after the front nine were completed, but Hank Ellis Insurance came back to win the back nine by three points edging out their competition by a 45 ½-44 ½ score.

Chris Brady of High Point Construction won Low Gross score honors with a 74 while Doug Garrett of Hank Ellis Insurance had a 76 and Dave Pitcher of High Point Construction an 80.

Tim Critchfield of Hank Ellis Insurance brought home Low Net honors with a 67 while Garrett and Pitcher checked in with 70s.
