GSC to Host Jazz Spring Concert

GLENVILLE – Students in the Glenville State College Department of Fine Arts will hold their Spring Jazz Band Concert on Tuesday, May 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium.

“Our concert this semester will focus on our talented student soloists.  The Jazz Combo will be featuring student arrangements of jazz classics and the big band will be performing a swing, rock, Latin, and funk repertoire designed to feature several of our incredibly talented upperclassmen,” said GSC Assistant Professor of Music and Jazz Band Director Dr. Jason Barr.

The concert is open to the public. Admission is by donation and all proceeds from the concert will support the jazz ensembles at GSC.
