Grant opportunities available through Women of WVU Enrichment Fund

Applications are now being accepted for the sixth round of grants through an enrichment fund established by Women of WVU.

The group was established by the West Virginia University Foundation in 2014 to provide women who love the University another way to become involved using educational activities, networking opportunities and philanthropy.

The Women of WVU Enrichment Fund was created by the group’s leadership council to provide support funding for female students and programs benefiting women at WVU. Student grants up to $2,500 and program grants up to $5,000 are available.

The Women of WVU Enrichment Fund is intended to support activities that complement and enhance projects and programs at West Virginia University, especially those that have a direct impact on West Virginia. Funding is not available for tuition, books or fees, or international travel.

Those interested must submit an application along with a proposal stating the need and purpose for funding, as well as a letter of recommendation. Deadline to apply is April 30.
