GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Glenville State College Players will present a reader’s theatre version of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons on Thursday, April 22, Friday, April 23, and Saturday, April 24. Each performance will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Heflin Administration Building President’s Auditorium.

Face coverings are required and seating inside the Auditorium will be marked for social distancing. Admission is $5 at the door.

The cast for this production includes Dr. Jeff Bryson as Joe Keller, Courtney Goard as Ann “Annie” Deever, Maeghan Hurst as Sue Bayliss, Dr. Mark Manchin as Chris Keller, Dr. Gary Morris as Frank Lubey, Kaylin Nicholas as Lydia Lubey, Andrew Mattox as George Deever, and Dr. Marjorie Stewart as Kate Keller.

The performance is being directed by Bryson, assistant directed by Fairan Gill, with sound and lighting by Dr. Jonathan Minton.

All My Sons is set after World War II and examines the struggles of the Keller family when a tragic secret from the war threatens to come to light. Miller’s penchant for stories dealing with a moral dilemma is on full display in the performance, forcing the Kellers and those around them to come to terms with the past.

Reader’s theater performances feature no sets and few or no props and costumes. This theatrical format relies on the actors effective use of voice, gestures, and facial expressions to portray the characters in the story to the audience.
