Glenville State College Department of Fine Arts to hold virtual auditions

GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Glenville State College (GSC) Department of Fine Arts is now accepting virtual auditions for the music program as part of their Spring 2021 Audition Days.

GSC has a long history of excellence as the premiere small college in West Virginia to study music and music education, offering small class sizes and immersive instruction.

“As a music student at Glenville State College, you’ll find the same variety of performance opportunities available at a large school,” said Department Chair and Assistant Professor of Music, Dr. Jason Barr. “Students can take part in both large and small vocal ensembles, percussion ensembles, our world-renowned tuba and euphonium ensemble, jazz big band and combos, the GSC Bluegrass Band, as well as our Pioneer Marching Band and pep band.”

Prospective students who would like to submit an audition for the music program should first visit this link (https://bit.ly/2NINkQH) to see a list of audition requirements. Auditions will be conducted virtually this semester via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Skype. For additional information or to schedule an audition, email Jason.Barr@glenville.edu.
