BUCKHANNON — The Fred Brooks Garden Club will be holding its annual Plant Auction on Monday, May 17, at 6 p.m., at Jawbone Park.

This is a fundraiser to support club activities throughout the year. The money from the auction will be used by the club to help out with community planting projects, such as the flowers at the Courthouse, Health Department, the Blue Star Memorial on Rt. 33, and Fred Brooks Park. The club also provides plant therapy activities at local nursing homes.

Club members will bring in plants from their gardens and flower beds to be auctioned off.  The public is invited to attend and bid on this great selection of plants.
