Fish Hawk Acres invites the community to events in December

BUCKHANNON – Mark your calendar: Fish Hawk Acres will offer several exciting events this month. Experience the fun and fine dining of Fish Hawk Acres through their Wine Clubs, Market Dinners and other special events.

Market Dinner

Market dinners bring locals and guests together for a fine-dining experience at the market. Reserve your tickets now for the Going Out with a Band Market Dinner on Friday, December 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fish Hawk Acres – located at 5 W. Main Street in Buckhannon. Advance reservations are required for these events as seating is limited. The cost to enjoy this experience is $45 per person plus tax. Gratuity not included.   • Seared Diver Scallop with Brown Butter

Bread and Butter Board:

Special Events

Learn to make a floral and candle centerpiece with Juliette at The Coop. The Holiday Wreath or Swag Class will take place Saturday, December 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at The Coop – located at 4 E. Main Street in Buckhannon. The cost to enjoy this experience is $45 per person. The class price includes all the materials and supplies needed to make a beautiful holiday wreath that you get to take home with you! Sunday Brunch

Gather your loved ones for a refreshing brunch at Fish Hawk Acres. The Winter Solstice Brunch will take place Sunday, December 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fish Hawk Acres – located at 5 W. Main Street in Buckhannon. Brunch includes your choice of first course and entree, plus complimentary pastry basket and beverages. The cost to enjoy this experience is $45 per person plus tax.   • Potato and celery root bisque with micro celery
  • Cara Cara orange salad with shaved fennel, pomegranate, red onion, butter lettuce, goat cheese and citrus honey dressing
  • Tropical fruit and Greek yogurt with Fish Hawk Granola

Pastry Basket:

  • Dark boozy fruit cake
  • Apricot almond scones
  • Apple walnut muffins
  • Hot cocoa coffee cake

Once a month, the Fish Hawk Acres Wine Club allows wine enthusiasts to gather for an afternoon of sipping. Join the F’hamily on Sunday, December 11 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in The Hawk’s Nest at 5 W. Main Street (the upstairs of Fish Hawk Acres Market). The cost to enjoy this experience is $45 per person plus tax. Gratuity not included.
