Despite loss, Custom Cabinets takes over first place by themselves in Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League

TENNERTON – Custom Cabinets took over first place by themselves despite a 20 ½-19 ½ loss to Lisa Cain Edward Jones in the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League this week.

Custom Cabinets now has 67 ½ points.

In a tie with High Point Construction for the lead last week, Custom Cabinets took over the top spot after High Point Construction dropped to third place with a 23-17 setback to Highland Landscaping.

Highland Landscaping moved into second place with 67 points while High Point Construction has 65.

Feola’s Flowers had the big jump of the week moving up from eighth place to fourth place with a 25 ½-14 ½ victory over Hank Ellis Insurance.

First Community Bank moved into fifth place with a 25 ½-14 ½ win over Baker Tilly.

In the other match of the week, Sam’s Pizza downed Sealcoat Concepts by a 23-17 margin.

Chad Wilfong of Feola’s Flowers earned Low Actual honors with a 37 and Low Net honors with a 30.
