Carolyn “Diane” Robinson

Carolyn “Diane” Robinson, 65, of Buckhannon, WV, died Saturday October 16, 2021, at St. Josephs Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born October 29, 1955, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Alva Harrison and Anna Susan Bailey Bennett.

On December 31, 1974, she married David Robinson who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Carla Charlton and husband Charles of Flemington, WV; one son, Michael Robinson of French Creek, WV; four grandchildren, Isaac Robinson of French Creek, Daisy Charlton of Flemington, Isaiah and Hannah Robinson both of French Creek; three sisters, LaDonna Perry, Sharon Robinson, and Sandra Linger all of Buckhannon; two brothers, Roger Bennett and Dwayne Bailey both of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews and many friends who loved and adored her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Alva “Marty” Bennett.

Diane was a caregiver with the Upshur County Senior Citizen, who was loved and recommended by so many. She loved her family very much and especially enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was a Baptist by faith and attended the Sago Baptist Church in Sago, WV.

Friends will be received Monday October 18, 2021, from 4:00PM-8:00PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday October 19, 2021, at 11AM at the funeral home with Rev. Wease Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Bailey Cemetery in Buckhannon.
