Much like today, Buckhannon has experienced major snow accumulations throughout history. Pictured here, Buckhannon received a record breaking accumulation of 40 inches over a seven day period in 1950! Yes, a total of 40 inches!

With extreme snowfall and low temperatures, please use caution when out-and-about today.
