Buckhannon: Then and Now – Join us in showcasing the landmarks of Upshur County throughout history and today.
After last week’s showcase of Upshur County libraries, we would like to shine a spotlight on the unique “Bookmobile” that could be found here in Upshur County from 1956 to 1981. The bookmobile held approximately 1,300 books at a time. This service offered reading materials to residents that may otherwise experience difficulties in obtaining such items based on their location.
