Buckhannon Community Theatre to present ‘A Christmas Story’ starting Dec. 2

BUCKHANNON – The Buckhannon Community Theatre (BCT) is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of “A Christmas Story,” adapted by the talented Philip Grecian.

This beloved holiday classic promises to warm the hearts of audiences of all ages with its heartwarming and humorous take on the holiday season.

Directed by Dannie Stiles, “A Christmas Story” marks his fourth directorial endeavor with Buckhannon Community Theatre. This production is particularly special as it features a mostly child-based cast, showcasing the incredible talent of young actors in our community.

The story follows the adventures of young Ralphie, played by the remarkable Julian Green, who takes audiences on a journey through the ups and downs of his childhood Christmases. John Waltz brings the character of Adult Ralph to life, providing a nostalgic and heartwarming narration that ties the past and present together.

Performance dates for “A Christmas Story” are as follows:

  • December 2, 3, 9, and 10 at 2:00 PM
  • December 2, 8, and 9 at 7:00 PM

Performances will take place at the Colonial Arts Center located at 30 East Main Street in Buckhannon.
