Bobcats ink 17 recruits on National Signing Day

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. –– New Head Coach Tony Testa feels that while his staff did a great job of addressing their immediate needs in the 17 student-athletes that committed to joining the WVWC Football Family, National Signing Day is just a jumping off point for their program.

“To be able to address almost all of our positional needs, with a half-full staff in just a month’s time, is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all of our assistant coaches. Both them, and the current players on roster, have done a tremendous job of helping to show the culture we are working to build here at Wesleyan. I couldn’t be more proud of all of their efforts. Not only did we address needs on the field, but I’m confident the group of young men that signed with us yesterday are dedicated to helping build our Football Family the right way.”

“We couldn’t be happier at the group of men that have signed on to become the foundation of our first recruiting class, but make no mistake, we are just getting started!”
