‘Black and Orange Virtual Preview Days’ announced for prospective, accepted West Virginia Wesleyan students

BUCKHANNON, WV – Today, West Virginia Wesleyan College’s (WVWC) Office of Admissions announced two “Black and Orange Virtual Preview Days,” February 27 and March 20, providing accepted and prospective students an opportunity to learn more about Wesleyan, their majors, match with a current student and prepare for becoming a Bobcat.

The virtual “Black and Orange Virtual Preview Days” are a nod to past years’ “Orange and Black Day,” where hundreds of accepted students and their families would flood the Wesleyan campus to prepare for the upcoming fall semesters. Students and their families may sign up to participate online at: wvwc.edu/black-and-orange-day.

“We are excited to welcome a new class of students to our campus as they embark on starting their future here at Wesleyan,” said John Waltz, Vice President of Enrollment and Financial Aid at WVWC. “While the “Black and Orange Virtual Preview Days” will be conducted online this year, it will not diminish the importance of our incoming freshman class; we are eager to welcome them to Buckhannon.”

The online programming will begin on both February 27 and March 20 at 12:30 p.m. ET and offer incoming students a “Next Steps” presentation, which discusses the process of becoming a student at WVWC, along with academic major breakout sessions to learn more about prospective fields of study. In addition, accepted and prospective students will be matched with current students to get the true vibe on what being a Bobcat is all about.
