BUCKHANNON — The City of Buckhannon on Thursday announced that beginning Friday, March 26, 2021, the Buckhannon Sewer Department will be closing a larger portion of North Spring Street as they continue replacing lines.

The closure will now begin at the Salvation Army, located at 21 North Spring Street, and go north to the railroad tracks near Willard Way.

In announcing the update Bryan “Buck” Samples, Buckhannon’s Sewer Department Supervisor, again thanked area residents for their patience and understanding. “The work is going well and our crews are staying safe” Samples stated.

The City will continue to issue updates as this project continues.
