Aaron James Preston Cable, age 28, of Masontown, WV, died Friday, May 12, 2023, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

He was born July 31, 1994, in San Diego, CA.  He is survived by his parents, Creed Pletcher, III and Sherry Duke Pletcher of Bruceton Mills, WV; one sister, Abigail Pletcher of Fairmont, WV; paternal grandmother, Patty Pletcher of Buckhannon; paternal grandparents, Creed and Mary Pletcher of Buckhannon; maternal grandmother, Charlene Duke of Pickens, WV; maternal grandfather, James Duke of Masontown; aunts and uncles, Jamie and Brad Casteel of Reedsville, WV, Rick Lamb and Ginger of Clarksburg, WV, Pamela and Rich Reed of Prairieville, LA, and cousins, Carley Casteel, Ross Reed, Josh and Alana Reed, Dustin and April Post, Tyson and April Lamb and Julie Lamb.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 1 PM to 2:30 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 2:30 PM with Pastor Dave Cunningham officiating.

In honoring Aaron’s wishes he will be cremated.
