Collin Meadows tabbed as WVWC Swimming head coach

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Collin Meadows has been named as the next head coach of the West Virginia Wesleyan men’s and women’s swimming programs, WVWC Athletic Director Randy Tenney announced on Tuesday (August 3).

For the past three seasons, Meadows has been an assistant swimming coach at Davis & Elkins.

“This is a great opportunity to be a head coach in a conference and area I’m familiar with,” Meadows said. “There is a great core group already in place to build off of. I’m extremely excited to get started.”

The South Charleston, W.Va., native graduated from Davis & Elkins in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. Meadows was a four-year member of the swim team at D&E (2012-16) earning several all-academic accolades. In 2016, Meadows was a member of the Senator men’s lacrosse team.

He has mentored athletes at numerous camps and coached the Randolph County YMCA club swim team.

Meadows takes over the helm of Bobcat swimming after previous head coach and alumnus Adam Brumley resigned to pursue opportunities outside of swimming.
