“Pirates Of The West Fork” Escape Room at Stonewall Resort now open

Weston, W.Va. – You have one hour: find the hidden clues, decode cleverly-crafted messages and solve challenging puzzles in an effort to rescue the ‘mountaineer’, locate the treasure and defeat the pirates of the West Fork River at Stonewall Resort’s new escape room!

Opening Wednesday, July 17, Stonewall Resort Escapes’ “Pirates Of The West Fork” is a live-action game experience that’s sure to test your wits. Located in the Roanoke Activity Plaza on the resort grounds, the escape room is perfect for individuals and groups.

“We’re thrilled to offer this creative, challenging and fun Stonewall Resort Escapes concept to resort visitors and guests,” said Andre’ D’Amour, general manager at Stonewall Resort. “Pirates Of The West Fork” is available to everyone – those living in the community or staying with us as a resort guest. And, we plan to build an additional escape room or two soon.”

D’Amour said teams of 6-8 people will play the game together.  Guests can bring their friends and make their own team or for individuals interested in playing, the resort will create teams. The concept is also great for families, team building and retreats.

The escape room is open Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 8 p.m.  Games will start at the following times daily:  12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 7 p.m. Reservations are encouraged but walk-ins are welcome.  To identify available game times and to reserve your space, call (304) 269-8887.

The cost to play is $25 per person. Participants must be at least 16 years old to participate without an adult. It is recommended that children accompanied by an adult be at least 10 years old. Participants should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the game start time, as the game will start promptly at the prescribed time.
