WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital to host November 10 blood drive — Donors entered to win $10,000 shopping spree

WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital and Vitalant will hold a community blood drive Nov. 10 at The Event Center at Brushy Fork, with November donors entered to win one of two $10,000 gift cards.

WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital is again partnering with Vitalant to host its final community blood drive of the 2025 season on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Event Center at Brushy Fork, 929 Brushy Fork Road, Buckhannon.

The need for blood donations typically rises during the winter holiday season. To help ensure a stable supply for patients, Vitalant is offering an added incentive — all donors who give in November will be entered for a chance to win one of two $10,000 gift cards, turning an act of generosity into a potential holiday shopping spree.*

Appointments are encouraged to ensure a smooth donation process. To schedule:

“Every donation has the power to save a life,” said Matt Scott, Director of Marketing & Communications at WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital. “As we close out our blood drives for 2025, we invite our community to show up one more time this year, roll up a sleeve, and help patients who will depend on this generosity in the months ahead.”
