Rita Josephine Galford

Rita Josephine Galford, 68, of Weston passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Holbrooks Health Care Center in Buckhannon.

She was born in Upshur County on September 7, 1956, a daughter of the late Fleming Hayes Perkins and Vonda Lou Barnhart Perkins Russell. On August 16, 1980, Rita married Glen Ray Galford who preceded her in death on August 13, 2002. She was also preceded by one brother, Jason Perkins.

Forever cherishing their memories of Rita are her sister, Linda Darlene McClure and husband, Raymond, of French Creek; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a Graveside Service at the Fair Haven Cemetery in Crawford at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025 with Pastor Jeff Swecker Officiating.
