Catherine M. Chua, DO, MS, FAAFP, a board-certified family physician at Vandalia Health Davis Medical Center, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the West Virginia Academy of Family Physicians (WVAFP).
With more than a decade of experience in delivering expert, patient-centered care, Dr. Chua brings a wealth of clinical expertise and leadership to her new role. Known for her dedication to preventive medicine, chronic disease management and community health education, she has been an invaluable member of the Vandalia Health team since joining in 2013.
“Family physicians play a critical role in improving public health across West Virginia,” said Dr. Chua. “I am honored to serve on the West Virginia Academy’s Board of Directors and look forward to working alongside my colleagues to advocate for policy initiatives that support our ability to deliver comprehensive care to patients throughout our region.”
As a member of the WVAFP Board, Dr. Chua will contribute to shaping statewide family medicine policies, promoting continuing medical education, and supporting community outreach efforts. Her leadership will strengthen the Academy’s mission of promoting excellence in family medicine and improving patient health outcomes throughout West Virginia.
