Cheers to Nine Years: Caroline & Co. to celebrate 9th anniversary with big sale event Saturday

BUCKHANNON – A popular Buckhannon boutique will celebrate its ninth anniversary on Saturday with a special shopping event.

Caroline & Co. Boutique invites customers to their store at 33 East Main Street in Buckhannon from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 for a day of fun and fashion.

The special surprises on Saturday include:

  • The first 15 customers will receive 50% off one item, and all those lined up outside the door at opening will pop a balloon for an additional discount.
  • Spin the prize wheel for a discount all day.
  • A free signature Caroline & Co. birthday gift for those who spend $50 or more.
  • A free Dairy Queen ice cream cone coupon with any purchase.
  • Three Little Buds Flowers will be selling spring bouquets for just $25 — cash only!

During the event, you can shop new arrivals, tons of sale items and more.

The ninth-anniversary celebration includes six years at Northridge Plaza as Caroline’s Closet and three years on Main Street as the rebranded Caroline & Co. Boutique. Owner Jennifer Fluke said the move to Buckhannon’s historic downtown district has been a boom for business.

“Our move to Main Street was a huge turnaround for us,” Fluke said. “We have a beautiful downtown area. There’s a lot of foot traffic, and it’s nice being closer to West Virginia Wesleyan College. Being in the heart of downtown Buckhannon has been a game-changer for us.”

Fluke said one thing that sets Caroline & Co. apart is their commitment to researching fashion trends and finding the perfect products for their customers.

“We are pretty particular when we’re searching for items. We are consistently shopping for products and trying to find the right fit for our area,” Fluke said. “We research trends and bring those to Buckhannon, oftentimes ones you maybe haven’t seen yet. We also try to target shopping for all ages.”

Under the supervision of Director of E-Commerce and Marketing Lisa Karickhoff, Caroline and Co. has also embraced e-commerce. The small-town boutique has shipped to 47 states and has had much success in reaching customers nationwide.

“Focusing on growth and expansion, not only in sales but also in the variety of products we carry, has allowed us to gain exposure over the last nine years. Not only do we love selling to our West Virginia customers, but shipping to other states is always exciting,” Fluke said. “Social media and our focus on creating content has allowed us to just continue to grow.”

Be sure to stop by the Caroline & Co. birthday bash from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at 33 East Main Street in Buckhannon.
