Charles “Charlie” Harold Radabaugh

Charles “Charlie” Harold Radabaugh, age 71, of Buckhannon, WV, passed away February 14, 2024, surrounded by his family.

He was born May 4, 1952, in Buckhannon, a son of Mildred Faye Layman Byers of Buckhannon and the late Adam Radabaugh.

On September 1 1972, he married the love of his life, Ellen DeBarr who survives. Also surviving are his loving children, Jeff Radabaugh and wife Amy of Bridgeport, WV and Amy White and husband Frank of Buckhannon; four grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Brynn Radabaugh, Madison and Savannah Reed and Jacob White; two brothers, Blaine Radabaugh and wife Shirley and Edward Radabaugh all of Buckhannon; one sister, Barbara Fultz; one stepsister, Bonnie Alkire and husband Dave and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jack Byers and one stepbrother, Wiley Byers.

Charlie worked at Corhart Refractories for 37 years. After Retirement, he worked on his farm and was named farmer of the year for Upshur County in 2019. Charlie enjoyed growing vegetables in his high tunnels and selling his produce at the local Farmer’s Market. He never met a stranger and was a member of the Kesling Mill Lions Club.

A memorial graveside service will be held 2 PM Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Radabaugh Cemetery with the Rev. Wease Day officiating. The family would like to thank WV Hospice and his great providers, Donna, Jack, Joy, Chrissy, Stephanie and Angie.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Kesling Mill Lions Club or the organization of your choice in honor of Charlie.
