Basketball Lady Bucs enter season ranked 10th

TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur Lady Bucs will open the season ranked 10th in Class AAAA after the release of the Associated Press girls basketball pre-season poll.

The Lady Bucs are ranked in a tie in that 10th spot with Bridgeport.

Huntington is first after receiving nine first place votes while Cabell Midland is second with one first-place vote.

Region I foes Morgantown and Wheeling Park are fourth and fifth, respectively.

The Lady Bucs open their season Tuesday at Preston.
