BUCKHANNON – Buckhannon City Council approved times for trick-or-treating this October.
Council voted to designate trick-or-treat time from 6 to 7: 30 p.m. on Halloween, Oct. 31, within the city limits.
The Aug. 24 Consolidated Public Works Board members suggested the recommended timeframe.
“We would like to have this go through this board so we can recommend to city council to have Trick or Treat on Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. within city limits,” Mayor Robbie Skinner said at the August meeting.. “Those times typically coincide with the county, and Oct. 31 this year is a Tuesday.”
The Colonial Arts Center will also offer a plethora of events throughout October called Booookhannon, including a witch-themed 5k and a Zombie Walk.
