19 new COVID-19 cases in West Virginia Tuesday, including one in Randolph

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources announced Tuesday that 19 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the Mountain State.

According to DHHR data, there is one new case in Randolph County, bringing the number of confirmed cases there up to 141. No cases have been identified in Upshur County in several weeks, with all six confirmed cases having recovered.

There are currently 617 active cases, with 1,366 people having recovered. Eighty-eight people have died of COVID-19 thus far, with no additional deaths reported so far this week.

No additional deaths were reported.
