BUCKHANNON – My Buckhannon is proud to present another edition of the Hank Ellis All-Stars. Each week, we will select a female and male athlete at Buckhannon-Upshur who has had an exemplary week on the basketball court, the wrestling mat, or the swimming pool.

Our Hank Ellis All-Stars for the week of Feb. 19 – Feb. 25 are Jaden Westfall and Casadie Lahman.

Westfall is a senior on the Buccaneer basketball team. In a 2-1 week for the Bucs that included a win over Class AAA No. 2 East Fairmont, Westfall averaged 10.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks. He scored 13 points in the upset win over East Fairmont and had 14 points in a win over Class AAAA Parkersburg.

Lahman is a senior on the Lady Bucs basketball team. In their sectional contest with University, Lahman had a team-high eight points and four steals to go along with four rebounds and two assists.
